2007年10月、ボーカル/ 田由紀(ex.Whiteberry)、ドラム/LEVIN(ex.Lacryma Christi)、ギター/宮路ヤ アキ、ベース/中村すなおの4名により結成されたTHE HUSKY。
ボーカル前田 紀の自らの体験や感情を等身大のリアルな言葉で表現する歌声は、力強いメッセージとなり独特な詞の世界観を形成している。
その世界観を経験豊かなメンバーの演奏力と想像力によって時にはディープでヘヴィな世界へ、時にはライトでポップな世界へと、型にはまらない独自の音楽性で表現するのがTHE HUSKYの特徴の一つであ 。
もう一つの特徴は、ライブバンドだという事である。
THE HUSKYの楽曲のアレンジ 常にライブを想定して作られていて、ライブこそがTHE HUSKYの真髄が発揮され 場と言える。
