Something Corporate mastermind Andrew McMahon has split off into his alter ego, Jack's Mannequin, which is very different than his piano infused songwriting for Something Corporate. The new album, Everything In Transit, came out in 2005, but a series of debilitating ailments crippled McMahon and he was unable to support the release with tours or interviews. McMahon had been diagnosed with Leukemia, had a stem cell transplant, underwent chemotherapy and battled pneumonia, the combination of which almost killed him.
