We do not torture. By George W. Bush
I just signed this petition on Bush and Torture. This is a BEYOND BELIEF happening in our nation. I hope you will join me in doing WHATEVER WE CAN to expose and punish those responsible for using such a repulsive practice IN OUR NAME! Thanks thethinkingblue

Several days ago, in a national television interview on ABC News, President Bush directly admitted that the White House was deeply involved in decisions about the CIA's use of torture.
Recent reports indicate that members of the Bush administration including Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell and George Tenet met regularly and approved the CIA's use of "combined" "enhanced" interrogation techniques -- tactics that amount to torture.
I just demanded that my members of Congress support strenuous efforts, including the appointment of an independent prosecutor, to hold President Bush, Vice-President Cheney and other high-ranking officials accountable for their role in crafting torture policy.
I thought you would like to know about this and would also want to do something about it. To take action, just follow the link below.

Helen Thomas appears to be the only member of the media who believes we should all be aware of what is going on behind our backs. In fact, what's going on right in front of our faces while Bush and his scourging cabal thumb their noses at us. Torture has been mentioned briefly by anchors and news sources but then it fades away... The fact that we have used this hellish force on fellow human beings, is something that should never fade. I can't do much, for that matter almost nothing but whenever I can call attention to this dreadful act, I will! I'll spread the word or feelings from the rooftops (or maybe just youtube) about how abominable torture is. But what is even more frightening than torture is that we Americans, have elected leaders who not only use this immoral practice but hold it up as a useful tool touting "the end justifies the means". I think it's more like an end to society and the beginning of anarchy. Also watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Video shows Helen Thomas asking Dana Perino why Bush said WE DO NOT TORTURE, only to turn around and say YES WE DO. Why would he say such a thing fully aware that the U.S. does and will torture. Dana responded by telling Helen, she is misconstruing President Bush's words. HUH?
