Coqui frogs in Hilo, Hawaii
We were driving along the Hilo district when we noticed the very loud singing of the coqui frogs. These cute little amphibians (too bad we didn't capture any on tape) are not native of Hawaii, they were introduced from Puerto Rico. Later on I heard rumors of how locals regularly hunt and kill them because they can't stand the loud coqui singing at night :(
